The Charles County Tree Planting Grant Program aims to implement tree planting projects in the County that will increase tree cover in urban and rural spaces, bringing the benefits of increased forest habitat, improved water quality, and a natural cooling system. It is expected that this program will improve the health and wellbeing of humans as well as the natural communities that comprise our local watersheds.
