Mobile App

Receive notifications via the Everbridge Mobile Member App. Text messaging is limited to emergency alerts only. Download the mobile app to receive non-emergency alerts on your mobile device. 

After downloading the app, search for the organization CNS and then select the Charles County MD-Charles County CNS result. Log into your existing account using your username and password. All emergency and non-emergency alert notifications will continue to be delivered to the mobile app free of charge. You will get a notification banner and a badge on the app when there is a new alert.

The Charles County Citizen Notification System (CNS) - Powered by EverBridge, is a free service that allows you to receive emergency, weather and community notifications via phone calls, email and more, for the locations you care about in Charles County. You can choose to receive notifications about events that may affect your home, your child's school, your parent's home, your workplace or other locations.

 

With Charles County CNS You Can

  • Pick the type of notifications that you wish to receive, including public safety, traffic, weather and community information notifications.
  • Designate up to ten (10) delivery methods, including home phone, cell phone, mobile app, text* and email. Text messaging is limited to emergency alerts only.
  • Supply up to five (5) addresses to receive appropriate notifications for specific County locations. All weather alerts are geo-targeted based on the location information.
