PUBLIC NOTICE
THE BOARD OF APPEALS FOR CHARLES COUNTY, MARYLAND has been petitioned by Lorenzi, Dodds, and Gunnill, Inc, requesting Special Exception use approval from the Board of Appeals for electric power, gas transmission, and telecommunications buildings and structures not associated with a tower, as provided in Article XIII, §297-212, (Use #4.06.200) and Article XXV, §297-415 of the Charles County Zoning Ordinance. The project site, designated as Tax Map 8, Grid 21, Parcel 517, consists of approximately 3.3321 acres and is located within the Planed Mixed Use (MX) Zone. The address of the subject property is located at the corner of Western Parkway and Berry Road in Waldorf, Maryland.
The Board of Appeals is hereby giving notice that a Public Hearing will be held on this matter Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. The Public Hearing will be held as a “Hybrid meeting,” with limited in-person attendance. For those attending in person, the Public Hearing will be held in the Government Building Conference Room (“Blue Room”). Those wishing to join virtually may via video conference. Those wanting more information may call 301-645-0692. The Public Hearing is open to the public, and public testimony is encouraged.
