PUBLIC NOTICE
THE BOARD OF APPEALS FOR CHARLES COUNTY, MARYLAND has been petitioned by Jesse Wickline, requesting a variance to Lot 1 which was recorded on March 14, 1972, with a minimum front building restriction line of thirty (30’) feet along Marshall Corner Road. This variance request is to allow the applicant to encroach six (6’) feet into the front building restriction line (BRL) along Marshall Corner Road, to allow a proposed attached garage to have a setback of twenty-four (24’) feet. The subject property is located at 8671 Marshall Corner Road, Pomfret, Maryland, and is further designated as Lot 1, Parcel 191, within Grid 5, Tax Map 22, in the Rural Residential (RR) zone. Lot 1 is approximately 30,056 square feet in size.
The Board of Appeals is hereby giving notice that a Public Hearing will be held on this matter Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in an in-person format only at the Charles County Government Building located at 200 Baltimore Street, La Plata, Maryland 20646. Persons with questions or wanting more information regarding this hearing may call 240-776-6686 for further information. The hearing is open to the public, and public testimony is encouraged.
