LEGAL NOTICE

Application has been made to the undersigned by John Michael Wayne Hunt, Jr., Michael Brian Seman, Huntt’s Tavern, LLC, t/a Huntt’s Tavern, 6520 Bensville Road, Pomfret, Maryland 20675, for a transfer of the Class D – Beer, Wine & Liquor (on/off sale) alcoholic beverage license, at the premises there described.

This application is made in accordance with the Alcoholic Beverages Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland, and this is to hereby give notice to the public that a virtual hearing will be held before the Board of License Commissioners for Charles County, Maryland, on the application to determine whether the license shall or shall not be granted on the 10th day of December, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. Comments from the public will be accepted by Postal mail, at Board of License Commissioners, 200 Baltimore Street, La Plata, MD 20646, or email to BaileyL@CharlesCountyMD.gov, received by close of business on December 9, 2020. The public will be able to view this meeting on Charles County Government Television (CCGTV) which airs on Comcast Channel 95 and Verizon Channel 10 or at www.CharlesCountyMD.gov. Residents without internet service can listen to the meeting at 301-645-0500.

This application contemplates a transfer of the Class Class D – Beer, Wine & Liquor (on/off sale) alcoholic beverage license from Lisa Ann Shumaker, UNME, LLC, t/a Huntt's Tavern, 6520 Bennsville Road, Pomfret, Maryland 20675

Any person objecting to the issuance of this license shall make known his objections to the Board of License Commissioners in accordance with the above timeline.
