PUBLIC NOTICE

Zoning Map Amendment (ZMA) #20-03

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of Charles County, Maryland will conduct a Public Hearing on April 12, 2021at 6:00 p.m. to consider a proposed Zoning Map Amendment. The meeting will be held remotely via video teleconference. Persons wanting more information may call 301-645-0692. The hearing is open to the public, and public testimony is encouraged.

Zoning Map Amendment (ZMA) #20-03 is a request to rezone approximately 8.19acres of land from the current split zoning designation of Watershed Conservation District (WCD) and Core Retail Residential (CRR) to Central Business (CB),in accordance with Chapter 297-448 of the Zoning Ordinance. The subject property is located between MD 210 (Indian Head Highway) and Hungerford Road in Bryans Road, Maryland.

A call-in option is available to speak during the meeting. Each speaker is allotted three (3) minutes. If a registered speaker is not available when called, the County has the right to move onto the next caller.
