Public Hearing: FY22 Budget

PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the County Commissioners of Charles County, Maryland will conduct a public hearing on April 27, 2021 at 6:00 PM to consider the Fiscal Year 2022
Operating Budgets, the 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Program, and proposed fees, rates, and charges.

The meeting will be held remotely via video teleconference. Persons with questions or wanting more information regarding this hearing may call (301) 645-0570 for further
information. The hearing is open to the public, and public testimony is encouraged.

Copies of the operating and capital budgets and the proposed fees, rates, and charges are available on our websitehttps://www.charlescountymd.gov/government/departments/fiscal-and-administrative-services/budget-division.

Due to COVID19, and in lieu of public appearance: Citizens can watch via CCGTV on cable access channels, Comcast: 95 and Verizon FIOS: 10, view on line at
https://www.charlescountymd.gov/our-county/ccgtv-live-stream, or use a call-in number to listen to the Public Hearing at 301-645-0500.

Participants who wish to speak during the April 27th public hearing must call 301-885-2779 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on April 27th to register. Once registered, citizens will be
called between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on April 27th, to testify. Each speaker will be allotted three (3) minutes. If you are not available to speak when you are called, we have the right to move
on to the next caller.

Comments will also be accepted April 16, 2021 starting at 8:00 a.m. through April 27, 2021, 5:00 p.m. by using the e-comment feature at https://www.charlescountymd.gov /FY2022

Maryland 20646. Comments sent by mail must be received no later than April 27, 2021.
