Alejandro Solis, Sr., Whitney’s Liquors, Inc., t/a Whitney’s Liquors, 2218 Old Washington Rd., Waldorf, MD 20601, for transfer of the on the Class D – Beer, Wine & Liquor (on/off sale) alcoholic beverage license from Khanh Tho Le, Heang You Huynh, Roger Preston Burnette, Whitney’s Liquors, Inc., t/a Whitney’s Liquors, 2218 Old Washington Rd., Waldorf, MD 20601, at the premises there described.

This application is made in accordance with the Alcoholic Beverages Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland, and this is to hereby give notice to the public that a virtual hearing will be held before the Board of License Commissioners for Charles County, Maryland, on the application to determine whether the license shall or shall not be granted on the 20th day of May, 2021 at 1:30 P.M. Comments from the public will be accepted by Postal mail, at Board of License Commissioners, 200 Baltimore Street, La Plata, MD 20646, or email to BaileyL@CharlesCountyMD.gov, received by close of business on May 19, 2021. The public will be able to view this meeting on Charles County Government Television (CCGTV) which airs on Comcast Channel 95 and Verizon Channel 10 or at www.CharlesCountyMD.gov. Residents without internet service can listen to the meeting at 301-645-0500.

This application contemplates a substitution of licensee, with Alejandro Solis, Sr. replacing Roger Preston Burnette as an officer of Whitney’s Liquors, Inc., and as resident licensee on the Class D – Beer, Wine & Liquor (on sale only) alcoholic beverage license.

Any person objecting to the issuance of this license shall make known his objections to the Board of License Commissioners at the time of the above hearing.
