LEGAL NOTICE

Application has been made to the undersigned by Pleas Eugene Dillard, Jr., Vikramjeet Singh Virk, Malhi, Inc. t/a Friendly Tavern & Liquor, 3190 Leonardtown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601, for a transfer of the Class D – Beer, Wine & Liquor (on/off sale) alcoholic beverage license from Pleas Eugene Dillard, Jr., Malhi, Inc., t/a Friendly Tavern & Liquor, at the premises there described.

This application is made in accordance with the Alcoholic Beverages Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland, and this is to hereby give notice to the public that a virtual hearing will be held before the Board of License Commissioners for Charles County, Maryland, on the application to determine whether the license shall or shall not be granted on the 20th day of May, 2021 at 1:30 P.M. Comments from the public will be accepted by Postal mail, at Board of License Commissioners, 200 Baltimore Street, La Plata, MD 20646, or email to BaileyL@CharlesCountyMD.gov, received by close of business on May 19, 2021. The public will be able to view this meeting on Charles County Government Television (CCGTV) which airs on Comcast Channel 95 and Verizon Channel 10 or at www.CharlesCountyMD.gov. Residents without internet service can listen to the meeting at 301-645-0500.

This application contemplates the addition of Vikramjeet Singh Virk, to the Class D – Beer, Wine & Liquor (on sale only) alcoholic beverage license issued to Pleas Eugene Dillard, Jr., Malhi, Inc,. t/a Friendly Tavern & Liquor, 3190 Leonardtown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601.

Any person objecting to the issuance of this license shall make known his objections to the Board of License Commissioners at the time of the above hearing.
