PUBLIC NOTICE
THE BOARD OF APPEALS FOR CHARLES COUNTY, MARYLAND has been petitioned by James Michael Long, Trustee for James J. Long, Jr. Revocable Trust, for a renewal of a Special Exception to operate an automobile and motorcycle racing track, as provided in Article XIII, Section 297-212 (Use #4.02.250) and Article XXV, Section 297-415 of the Charles County Zoning Ordinance. This site will specifically be used for an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) Park (Wicomico Motor Sports)The site consists of approximately 257 acres and is located at 11000 Kingston Pl., Charlotte Hall, Maryland, and is designated as Tax Map 75, Grid 14, Parcel 15, in the Agricultural Conservation (AC) Zone.
The Board of Appeals is hereby giving notice that a Public Hearing will be held on this matter Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.. The meeting will be held remotely via video teleconference. Persons with questions or wanting more information regarding this hearing may call 301-645-0632 for further information. The hearing is open to the public, and public testimony is encouraged.
The submittal documents for Docket #1059, filed on January 14, 2021 and Staff Report will be available for inspection on or after May 10, 2021 in the Planning Division, Planning and Growth Management Department, Charles County Government Building, La Plata, Maryland or online at: www.charlescountymd.gov/government/boarddocs.
