PUBLIC NOTICE
THE BOARD OF APPEALS FOR CHARLES COUNTY, MARYLAND has been petitioned by Layton Mobile Storage, LLC requesting Special Exception use approval from the Board of Appeals for a Mini-Warehouse, Use #7.02.230 as provided in Article XIII, Section 297-212, Article XXV, Section 297-415 of the Charles County Zoning Ordinance. The Applicant is proposing to construct a 19,200 square foot Mini-Warehouse facility to house portable storage units, eight (8) 8 x16 storage containers, nine (9) 8 x 8 storage containers, and a six hundred square foot office building. There will also be a location for temporary container storage in the front of the facility by the parking area. The project site, designated as Tax Map 8, Grid 11, Parcel 234, Lot 1 consisting of approximately 1.31 acres and is in the Community Commercial (CC) zone. The subject property is identified as 2400 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Maryland.
The Board of Appeals is hereby giving notice that a Public Hearing will be held on this matter Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.. The meeting will be held remotely via video teleconference. Persons with questions or wanting more information regarding this hearing may call 301-645-0632 for further information. The hearing is open to the public, and public testimony is encouraged.
