PUBLIC NOTICE 

Zoning Text Amendment (ZTA) #21-161 

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of Charles County, Maryland will conduct a Public Hearing on July 19, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. to consider a proposed Zoning Text Amendment (ZTA). The meeting will be held remotely via video teleconference. Persons wanting more information may call 301-645-0692. The hearing is open to the public, and public testimony is encouraged. 

ZTA #21-161 is a request to include Use #4.01.110, private elementary and secondary schools, as a permissible land use in the Waldorf Central (WC) Zoning District. The proposal would specifically amend Figure IV-1, Table of Permissible Uses, of the Charles County Zoning Ordinance.

A call-in option is available to speak during the meeting. Each speaker is allotted three (3) minutes. If a registered speaker is not available when called, the County has the right to move onto the next caller.
