PUBLIC NOTICE
THE BOARD OF APPEALS FOR CHARLES COUNTY, MARYLAND has been petitioned by Jelly Beans Early Learning Center requesting Special Exception use approval from the Board of Appeals for nursing care, intermediate care, handicapped, infirm, and child care institutions, Use #4.03.200, as provided in Article XIII, §297-212, Article XXV, §297-415 of the Charles County Zoning Ordinance. The subject property consists of approximately 2.641 acres and is located at 10810 Charles Street, La Plata. The property is further identified as Tax Map 44, Grid 24, Parcel 125 and is located within the Rural Residential (RR) Zone.
The Board of Appeals is hereby giving notice that a Public Hearing will be held on this matter Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.. The meeting will be held remotely via video teleconference. Persons with questions or wanting more information regarding this hearing may call 301-645-0632 for further information. The hearing is open to the public, and public testimony is encouraged.
The submittal documents for Docket #1431, filed on February 11, 2021 and Staff Report will be available for inspection on or after August 30, 2021 in the Planning Division, Planning and Growth Management Department, Charles County Government Building, La Plata, Maryland or online at: www.charlescountymd.gov/government/boarddocs.
