This committee acts in an advisory capacity to the respective Board of Commissioners in all matters pertaining to the animal shelter. This Committee does not have any policy making or regulatory powers.

The Board of Commissioners, for their respective counties, will appoint three (3) citizens that reside in their county. Meetings are held on an as needed basis, determined by the chairperson of the committee.
