Zoning Text Amendment (ZTA) #21-162 Veterinarians and Veterinary Hospitals in the CB Zone 

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of Charles County, Maryland will conduct a Public Hearing on September 20, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. to consider a proposed Zoning Text Amendment (ZTA). The meeting will be held remotely via video teleconference. Persons wanting more information may call 301-645-0692. The hearing is open to the public, and public testimony is encouraged.

ZTA #21-162 would permit use code 5.02.400, Veterinarians and Veterinary Hospitals with conditions in the Central Business Zone. The application would amend Figure IV-1, Table of Permissible Uses and Article XIII Minimum Standards for Special Exceptions and Uses Permitted with Conditions of the Charles County Zoning Ordinance.

A call-in option is available to speak during the meeting. Each speaker is allotted three (3) minutes. If a registered speaker is not available when called, the County has the right to move onto the next caller.
