PUBLIC NOTICE
Public Hearing: Adequate Public Facilities Manual Updates (Traffic, Water, and Sewer)
Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of Charles County, Maryland will conduct a Public Hearing on January 24, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. to consider proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 297 Section 258 of the Code of Charles County, Maryland and the Adequate Public Facilities Manual. The meeting will be held remotely via video teleconference. Persons wanting more information may call 301-645-0692. The hearing is open to the public, and public testimony is encouraged.
The purpose of these amendments is to improve and update the regulations that pertain to the applicability and review of an Adequate Public Facilities Study (APFS), which includes a Traffic Impact Study (TIS) as well as an analysis on public water and sewer.

A call-in option is available to speak during the meeting. Each speaker is allotted three (3) minutes. If a registered speaker is not available when called, the County has the right to move onto the next caller.
