PUBLIC NOTICE
THE BOARD OF APPEALS FOR CHARLES COUNTY, MARYLAND has been petitioned by Acton Sun Land, LLC requesting Special Exception use approval from the Board of Appeals for a Processing Facility/Transfer Station (Solid Waste), Use #7.03.100, as provided in Article XIII, Section 297-212, Article XXV, Section 297-415 of the Charles County Zoning Ordinance. The project site, designated as Parcel 323-AR, within Grid 17, on Tax Map 8, consists of approximately 11.45 acres located entirely within the Heavy Industrial (IH) zone. The property is located off Chesterbrooke Court in Waldorf, Maryland, and was recorded in its current configuration via Plat Book 62, Page 152, on March 16, 2022. The property is designated with the following tax identifier – District 6, Account Number 021417.
The Board of Appeals is hereby giving notice that a Public Hearing will be held on this matter Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. The Public Hearing will be held as a “Hybrid meeting,” with limited in-person attendance. For those attending in person, the Public Hearing will be held in the Government Building Conference Room (“Blue Room”). Those wishing to join virtually may via video conference.
