- Recently awarded close to $3 million from the Maryland Office of Statewide Broadband through the FY23 Connect Maryland grant program. The County is partnering with Comcast and Verizon to bring service to over 400 households and businesses across the county.
- Working with Comcast to negotiate a memorandum of understanding for the FY22 Connect Maryland: Network Infrastructure Grant Program projects.
- Working with ThinkBig Networks (TBN) on the Nanjemoy/Cobb Neck (NCN) Broadband Buildout project and the Nanjemoy North Broadband Buildout.
- Worked with Comcast on the Neighborhood Broadband Expansion - Category 2 (NBE-Cat2) project, which was completed in 2022. For more information, please visit our project page.
- Finalized the Broadband Strategic Plan provided by CTC Technology & Energy in early 2020.
- Continually refining data to improve the accuracy of our maps of where service is and isn’t throughout the County.
