The mission of the Charles County Hazardous Materials Response Team (HMRT) is to
provide an all-hazards response, mitigation, protection and support solution to
Hazardous Materials, specialized rescue, chemical, biological, radiological,
nuclear, and explosive incidents. The HMRT provides round the clock response
capabilities to hazardous materials, clandestine laboratories, and CBRNE
incidents throughout Charles County and requesting federal, state and local
jurisdictions/agencies.
