IMPORTANT ADOPT-A-ROAD INFORMATION

If a business, group, or organization seeks to participate in the AAR Program, it must be compliant with Maryland regulations and in good standing. Because the County adopts and utilizes standards that are consistent with the State of Maryland, if a business is not in good standing with the State, it is not eligible to participate in the AAR Program.

Roads which have a number assigned to them (Route 301, Route 5, Route 6, Route 425, etc.) are maintained by the State Highway Administration, whose local office can be contacted by calling 301-934-8031.
