Welcome to Charles County Family Recovery Court

The Charles County Family Recovery Court (FRC) was established in 2010, and is a voluntary, four-phase program which was created to serve families with substance use disorders. The FRC team provides treatment and accountability to parents and promotes children’s well-being through family recovery. The FRC team is comprised of a Judge, Assistant Attorney General for the Charles County Department of Social Services, Public Defender, Court Appointed Special Advocate, Drug Court Coordinator, Family Recovery Court Case Manager, Probation Officer, Peer Recovery Coach, and Treatment Provider.

The FRC Team works to ensure that all participants have access to services necessary to achieve sobriety and establish the skills required to be the best parent they can be for their child(ren).
