On April 2, 2019 the Board of Commissioners approved its 2019-2021 Goals and Objectives (view video), which were developed at the Commissioners Retreat held on Feb. 26 (view video). The five goals focus on economic development, institutional governance and policy, environment, education, and quality of life. County Administrator Mark Belton stated that a more detailed plan, with objectives, specific actions, and performance measures, will be drafted and presented by county staff later this spring. The five approved goals are above.
